Worst service and worst customer service by an owner.

This restaurant has the worst service imaginable. Last night, due to the absolute lack of service I tried to pay for what I had eaten, only to be told by the owner that I had ordered a meal (3) and they all had to be paid for. I refused, the owner called the local police, while my wife paid the bill (another mistake), and was questioned by the police. The police said it was not their concern and that the restaurant had its rules and that I had abide by them. Having owned a restaurant in the past, I have never heard of a customer having to pay a bill for lousy service or poor food. Out of the blue, our meals were brought to the check out counter, in take out boxes. My fault.............eating greasy awful seafood that clogs every artery you have was not the best idea for a dinner out.

Harbor Inn Seafood is great. They are located at 3220 Old Forest Rd in Lynchburg. The servings are quite large, and I was glad they gave me a take out plate ithout asking for it. The salad bar, though, is extremely small, and I didn't like that at all because I am a salad bar junkie. I love salads. The place really rocks. I love it a lot and we go here when we can. Harbor Inn Seafood will be your seafood restaurant if you just try it once.

Wonderful atmosphere.. like you're on a cruise! Also, Harbor Inn is known for the HUMONGUS plates of food! Seafood of ever stripe. Their shrimp and deviled crabs are to die for!! The service was wonderful and friendly too. Another plus! The prices are fair. The salad bar was a tad smallish, but why quibble? Cause the plates are very large so you do not leave here hungry. Always doggie bag service and to go orders are not a problem!

Harbor Inn Seafood is excellent. The food is absolutely wonderful, especially the flounder. They bring melted butter to dip the hush puppies in, which just can't be beat. The portions are huge, and will definitely fill up even the biggest appetite. There can sometimes be a little of a wait in line, but it is well worth it. The staff and service are wonderful. This is a great place for seafood.
