AMAZING!

I wrote a review before, but it is no longer on the website... I'll just write another one. This restaraunt is the old-looking restaraunt on Old Graves Mill Rd. between a rundown old shopping center & the Kroger shopping center on Timberlake. Easy to find. The restaraunt is very private. It's the type of restaraunt that looks like it has stood still since the 1980's with its old, outdated decor, but at the same time, the waiters wear tuxedos & cumberbuns while the restaraunt plays soft music & is lit by candle-light. My husband had made reservations for us. We didn't know what to wear, so he wore khaki color dress slacks & a polo shirt while I wore dressy capris & a nice shirt. We were under-dressed. We walked in & saw women in coctail dresses & men in suits... Ooops. I ordered Veal Jaeger Schnitzel and my husband ordered a cajun chicken sandwich with french fries (I think it was the cheapest meal on the menu...). Our waiter was very prompt with his service. My meal came with salad & I was expecting some iceburg lettuce & a couple tomato wedges like I'd get at most restaraunts. Well, the waiter brought out a chilled plate of an interesting looking salad & explained all the components to me in a soothing, quiet voice. It was great. Then he brought out our meals. They were both fantastic! Even my husband's fries were wonderful & elegant. When it was time for dessert, the waiter explained all the different desserts they have that are made there, from scratch, daily. It took him about 5 minutes to list them all, but the way he explained them with his soothing voice made me feel like I was in a different part of the world. For example, when he explained the Death-by-Chocolate, he said someting like, " This dessert is a sampling of 5 chocolate components (he explained them all). This is something you would find on a nice cruise ship, in a dining room at sunset with the colors from the stained glass windows dancing across the table. It is elegant & sophistocated, yet not too heavy." I really, really enjoyed it! I can't wait to go back!
